Lower Mainland Grief Recovery Society

Supports the bereaved to rebuild their lives by helping them understand their grief in a safe, confidential environment.  Grieving is a healing process; it is a natural response to loss in our lives. While there are no right or wrong ways to grieve, the Lower Mainland Grief Recovery Society helps people cope and live with their loss by offering programs that help the grieving person move from pain to healing.  Our programs are designed for those who have suffered the death of a significant person. They offer the opportunity to meet in a group, to begin to understand grief and to rebuild your life. The programs are located in Kerrisdale, on the North Shore and if numbers allow, in the West End.
