Ongoing Training & Professional Development

The Cremation, Interment and Funeral Services Regulation Part 4 (38) requires that a person licensed as a funeral director, embalmer, or both must complete a minimum of 6 hours of training in a program of funeral services and/or 6 hours of training in a program of embalming during each successive 2 year period where the first 2 year period commences on the date the person first received his or her license to act as a funeral director or an embalmer or both.

Continuing education program opportunities can be completed either online or through classroom seminar format.
